A new kinetic piece in my ongoing Round And Round series. This three-track pendant is handcrafted completely of sterling silver. Three steel ball bearings are trapped within the channels, allowing them to roll about freely but unable to fall out. Approximately 1” in diameter. Hangs from a 16" long, 1.5 mm round snake chain that is finished with a secure lobster clasp. If you prefer a different chain or different length, please contact me; I am happy to make a change.
This design was inspired by my desire to make things that challenge one's usual notions of jewelry. I enjoy creating pieces that incorporate moving parts, and I enjoy figuring out new ways of doing this.
