A new kinetic piece in my ongoing Round And Round series. This double-track earring pair is handcrafted completely of sterling silver. A stainless steel ball bearing is trapped within each channel, allowed to roll about freely without falling out. Approximately .75" in diameter. Hangs approximately 1.25" from the top of its wide, round earring wire.
This design was inspired by my desire to make things that challenge one's usual notions of jewelry. I enjoy creating pieces that incorporate moving parts, and I enjoy figuring out new ways of doing this.
